GM Operations

Barry Russ began his television career in research before quickly moving into a senior floor manager role. An all rounder with a comprehensive understanding of television production, equipment and transmission, Barry’s background includes Studio Controller for TV3 during start-up (setting up the regional station), and Operations Manager for TV3 with full responsibility for equipment, the day-to-day transmission of the channel, and 70 staff. Barry took a break from television to work in the travel industry, returning to television with his role at Māori Television.
