GM Reo & Programming

Tawini Rangihau is a foremost exponent of te reo Māori and has been a key contributor to the use of the Māori language within the media environment. Tawini has extensive experience of radio and television, and has advised a range of reo Māori groups for Te Māngai Pāho, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, and Te Puni Kōkiri. As General Manager Reo & Programming Tawini is responsible for the channel’s reo Māori strategy and its programming strategy, including the production, acquisition and commissioning of programmes.
